Jay Shakti Machine Tools presents a hydraulic shearing machine with variable rake angle. This machine is a result of structural analysis technique that is used for continuous production, repeatability and accuracy.

AME: The frame of the machine is designed in an interlocked designand developed from steel to prevent weak sections at load support.Steel plates are used as a support when table of frame is welded. The table top surface comes with the provision of T-slot that facilitates front gauge stopper. Steel plate support is used to weld ram assembly.

RAKE ANGLE (VARIABLE): In the control panel, rake angle sector switch is given to vary the rake angle. It allows to shear higher thickness than its capacity. Thin sheets can be cut without distortion.

ROLLER GUIDES: Three points roller guides guide the upper beam. These are replaceable hardened lined for minimum wear. It also eliminates the need of lubricating guides.

HYDR. POWER PACK: The rear side of the machine has mounted hydraulic system at top. Hydraulic components used are of internationally reputed manufacturers, such as Rexroth, YUKEN Vickers, Dowty, etc. The valves at compact manifold block reduces piping and risk of leakage. Oil reservoir is provided for oil cooling.

CYLINDERS: The precisely honed cylinders come fitted with hard chromed piston rod with quality sealing elements. Cylinders have higher capacity as these are connected with upper beam (cutting beam) with spherical bearings. The synchronization is maintained as two cylinders work on re working on differential pressure principle for synchronization. It eliminates force required on cutting edge.

HYDR. HOLD DOWN: Hydraulic hold down pads are given to securely hold the sheet and prevent it from slipping and bowing, which resultsin clean square cut. Hold down units are given for better clamping while narrow stripes are cut.

BLADE CLEARANCE: Operator can adjust the blade clearance by level provided in each side of machine with calibration of clearance ideal for thickness.

MECHANICAL BACK GAUGE: On JSMT shears, we have provided manual back gauge as a standard equipment. The scale on the back gauge displaysquick reading of distance between shear and back gauge, which avoids errors and maintenance required in electronic equipment.

BLADES: JSMT shears come with single segment (HcHcr) blades for a long tool life. The blades with four edges can be easily assembled that reduces the down time.

OPERATION:The right side of the machine has an electric panel and operational console for easy operation by the operator. Console and control panel comes with three phase indicator, on-off push button, emergency stop push-button, forward-reverse push-button for back gauge operation, and an inch push-button for individual hold down function. Using the foot switch, shearing operation can be carried out. If this switch is released during any point of shearing operation, upper beam will return from that point.

FINGER GUARD: Finger guard is assembled in front of hold down for the protection of operator without obstructing his view.
